Margarita Negron

Margarita Negron serves as the Manager of Safety & Human Resources at Earth View and has played an active role in the company since her start in 2016. Margarita grew up in the construction industry; her father acquired his CDL license and drove for a concrete company prior to opening his own small construction equipment and material rental business. It was only natural that Margarita began working alongside him, learning the business from an early age. “From 2×4’s, plywood and concrete mixers, you could say that I knew a lot more about construction than the average 10-year old girl.”

Margarita graduated from the University of Puerto Rico & Universidad Ana G. Mendez where she received her degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Margarita worked for a National Pharmaceutical company where she developed a bilingual training program at the Florida division office. One to never complain, she decided after several years that pharmaceuticals weren’t for her and made the shift back to the construction industry and has never looked back. Margarita has a “passion for people” and “problem-solving is her thing” This is apparent to anyone that steps through the doors at EarthView. Margarita is the office “go-to;” if you need anything, she will either answer your question or find the person that can. While explaining policies and procedures, Margarita strives to “see things from the employees’ point of view.” She is patient and articulate, and a person of action. “I understand that my job is to protect the integrity and reputation of the company, and I am fully prepared to do just that!” Margarita works proactively with Earth View’s Safety Consultant, Dave Kelly, to identify potential hazards and “stay ahead of the curve” with the ever-changing heavy civil construction industry compliance and safety standards. She finds the Earth View culture to be innovative, professional, respectful, and just plain fun. “From the occasional construction themed baby shower to the unplanned Taco Tuesday lunch, we are always looking for a reason to celebrate and come together.”
