Project Overview

At the request of FP&L, Earth View fused and installed 2,060LF of 12” HDPE at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant via Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD). The work was performed to supply fresh water to the cooling canals that run through the nuclear reactor.

This was EV’s first drill at a power plant and based on stellar performance, EV was asked to return to complete two additional drills at the same location. EV proposed combining the two drills into one due to our rig’s capabilities and experience in the local area. Thus, allowing EV to expedite the schedule and drill 990LF of 12” HDPE at the Nuclear Plant. All EV personnel required entry clearance and background checks, and the project was completed on time and within budget.
